 tm is a hi-tech braided line, made from 100% Vectran®, by Hoechst-Celanese.
tm is 1/3 the diameter of nylon or polyester lines of similar pound test, boasting less than 4% stretch, which means excellent line sensitivity! (Note:Our Vectran ® line does not require special matte finished surfaces in its manufacture or in its end use, as do most other lines made from high modulus polyethylene).
tm is also an excellent fly line backing, allowing fly fishermen the opportunity to reduce reel size, making ther outfit lighter, for faster and easier casting. |
